The first time I met you in Canada, I loved you instantly. Your cool, calm, peaceful nature was so lovely and admirable. I never saw you complain or get angry. When I heard the news of your passing I wept, I remembered the words you told me when we saw in November 2022 in Nigeria and I was not happy because what you said was no longer going to happen but it's well. My consolation is that you knew the Lord and though we will miss you here on earth, I'm at peace because you are resting in a better place. I thank the Lord for your live well lived. Adieu Grandma

In loving memory of our Mother, Princess Christianah Monisola Oyewumi. Over two decades ago, I visited my then fiancé at his family home and had the opportunity to meet Mummy for the first time. She was so warm and pleasant, and we connected right away. From my early interactions with her and other members of the family, I realized I had hit a jackpot in the family I would get married into. Many years have come and gone; I have had no regrets whatsoever. Mummy was a woman of genuinely loving support and wise words. She exuded a most gracious personality. It was always a great blessing to talk to her or be around her, whether we visited her or she visited us. Over the years, she gave me the most heartwarming gifts which I still have and treasure today. Her prayers of faith, kind words of blessing, and loving and giving ways have been inspiring and exemplary to me, my children and so many others. Her ways are well worth emulating and she is worth celebrating, today and always. She will be greatly missed, and her legacy will live on.

Mama, when I met you in Nigeria last November to celebrate Pastor Dave's birthday, little did I know it will be the last time I'd see you. I greeted you "o dabo ma" meaning till we see again; how prophetic that was, Mama. I remember the times I would talk with you when talking with my children over video call or WhatsApp. You always had words of encouragement and comfort for us all. Thank you for the legacy of undiluted love & affection you left behind. Thank you for the legacy of the love of, and for Christ, of giving of all one has to the Lord. We know that in Christ we translate and live forever. Mama, we till see again in Christ Jesus. Amen.

It pleased the Lord for you to take a bow from this earth. Mama, you left indelible marks from the testimonies heard and sacrificed for your children as a parent (shouldered that responsibilities alone ever since your husband was called home 23 years ago). We take solace and comfort in our Maker. Mama, sleep on till we meet at the feet of Jesus Christ on the last day. Good night and good bye 👋... Sun re ooooo... O di'gba... Od'owuro Mama wa
